Barry Morrison’s British Title Shot Moved To Ally Pally
Saturday December 16th 2006 , 9:35 am
Filed under: Scottish Boxing, Barry Morrison, Ricky Burns

Barry Morrison will now be challenging Lenny Daws for the British Light Welterweight title at the Alexandra Palace in London on the 20th of January and not a day earlier at the National Sports Centre in Crystal Palace as previously reported.

The move comes as part of a big night of pay per view boxing on Sky Sports that will feature Ricky Hatton versus Juan Urango for the IBF Light Middleweight title in Las Vegas and Junior Witter’s WBC Light Welterweight title defence against Mexican Arturo Morua which will be top of the bill at the Ally Pally.

Tickets for the Alexandra Palace Show are on sale now priced £40, £80 and £200 and are available on 0870 060 1795.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Ricky Burns, another Scot looking to start the year with a British title victory, will face current Super Featherweight champ, Carl Johanneson, at Leeds Town Hall on the 9th of February.
