Scott Harrison remains without a boxing licence after failing to attend a British Boxing Board of Control tribunal today in Cardiff.
Scott’s father and trainer, Peter Harrison, did attend on his behalf, but the tribunal was not willing to lift the suspension without the boxer being present.
“Despite confirmation of his attendance received from the office of his Manager Barry Hughes, Boxer Harrison failed to appear before a Tribunal of the Stewards scheduled to take place at the Board’s offices this afternoon,” the BBofBC said in a statement issued afterwards.
“Accordingly his licence will remain suspended and he will not be permitted to take part in any boxing contest within the Board’s jurisdiction until such time as the Stewards permit him to do so, if appropriate, following an appearance before them.”
