It would have been great to see Amir Khan top the bill at Greenock Town Hall on the 25th of February, but even without the young Olympic boxing star everything is now in place for a superb night of amateur boxing.
Khan had been invited to face Scotland's Lightweight Champion, Mark Hastie, but his prior commitment to appear on the Joe Calzaghe undercard in Manchester and the fact that Hastie is now fighting at the 64kg limit meant it didn't come off.
Never mind though because the London ABA will be making the long trip north with eleven of the capital's top amateur boxers along with two coaches, a manager and a referee. And fighting out of the home corner will be West of Scotland's leading seniors plus the best of Greenock ABC's own youths.
Tickets are available from Danny Lee (0771 9333403 or 0796 6653550) and Gerry Shields (0798 6847364).
