Ayrshire's Andrew Ferrans has been nominated to fight unbeaten Welsh prospect Jamie Arthur for the vacant Celtic Super Featherweight Championship.
The 23 year old from New Cumnock will be looking for a big start to 2005 after the disappointment of losing to Carl Johanneson in Bristol last year when challenging for the WBF Super Featherweight title.
"This is a great opportunity for Andrew," manager Tommy Gilmour told Scottish Boxing, "as a win would put him in a position to challenge for the British title."
