Edinburgh prospect Scott Flynn will face Telford's Neil Marston on the Harrison - Polo undercard on Friday and will be looking to banish the memories of last June when he lost on his professional debut at the Braehead Arena.
Since that fourth round stoppage the 20 year old southpaw has scored a points win against Huddersfield based Abdul Mougharbel, but this Friday's clash with Neil Marston looks like being another difficult encounter for the youngster.
Marston is another southpaw and at 27 is looking to make headway in the pro game quickly. He made his professional debut last summer too, losing to Dai Davies on points, but since then has had three fights and three wins, albeit all against the same opponent, journeyman Paddy Folan.
As well as being southpaws, both boxers are looking to move down to Super Bantamweight so it should be an interesting one and hard to call over four rounds. If he can be the busier of the two, Scott should nick it.
He will need to have his wits about him though because Marston has fewer opportunities to shine on a big stage and sees this as a big chance to do just that.
"It is a massive chance for me and I have been training hard so I am ready to go," he told his local newspaper, The Shropshire Star.
Tickets to see Scott Harrison defend his WBO World Featherweight title against Victor Polo are available from the Braehead Arena (0870 444 6062) and Morrisons Gym, Swanston St, Dalmarnock (0141 554 7777) priced at £30, £50, £75 and £125.
