Scott Harrison's manager, Frank Maloney, has been quick to deny talk of a Featherweight unification showdown between the WBO champion and WBA and IBF champion, Juan Manuel Marquez.
"I have spoken to Top Rank, Marquez's promoters," Maloney told Stephen Halliday of The Scotsman. "I told them what I believe Scott is worth financially, but I got the impression Marquez wants most of the money from the fight. That's not a situation I would put Scott into.
"I will be sitting down with Scott next week to discuss it but we have more than one option available to him. There are another couple of interesting possible opponents, one of them high-profile, but I don’t want to name names until I have spoken to Scott."
Certainly the pre-Polo talk of fighting Marco Antonio Barrera in May isn't going to happen any time soon. Barrera is now due to meet South African Mzonke Fana on the 9th of April in El Paso, Texas.
